CHMC USB DRIVER

I'm a bit of a newbie, so I'm not sure where I'm going wrong. Interesting that you didn't have to modify it. Disconnecting the IC did nothing. Hi, thanks for your reply. Anyway, you just answered your own question.

CASIO USB Driver V - Should I Remove It?

I soldered directly to pin 2 and tried to ueb from 5V but it was reading 3. The lowest input voltage I can make the screen work with seems to be 7V through the original cable.

Wed Oct 07, 8: I'm a bit of a newbie, so I'm not sure where I'm going wrong. Is my screen more inefficient than other builds of similar kind or is it because of the low production value? Either find on ebay: It only worked a with 5v when I tried on the highlighted place vhmc the 1st poste. It is still working.

MauroG, with that board and the wiring suggested, do you have to remove the chip at all? Here are pictures of the screen's I've tried a lot of things for the power and ground connections. Chcm Jan 12, Counting IC pins you do by locating pinthen counting counterclockwise around the IC.

I have seen some tutorial on how to do the wiring but I was not able to find the same components positions as my screen's. When it is connected, it turns on not always, sometimes it burn the wire, the area circled in green are other parts that make the wire burn. Sun Dec 20, 8: Interesting that you didn't have to modify it. I do not know the name of this.

Pin 1 is indicated by a dimple or spot on the IC, or pin 1 is on the left hand top side when the IC's "notch" is located up. Very interesting thread, that inspired me in many ways, so I decided to contribute and, as smaller boards are more and more common, I'm sharing here my experience after some research and retroengineering.

I'll keep you posted. How To ask Questions: When Uusb said it burned the wire it is because sometimes, when I touched some chip the wire started making smoke So I think the other component I measured voltage at might be the voltage regulator as it does get input power.
