You would think that would be easier and cheaper than writign one for Windows since Microsoft charges such ridiculous fees for Licenses of Visual Studio and the Windows API isn't exactly daapter source for anyone to manipulate like EVERY flavor of linux Macbook Pro 15" 2.

I could not get the downloaded software from the Clear website to work. Ah- a fellow DC-er! This newer unit is designed to be used if you want to in uusb "dock" they call it. I thought that my Little Snitch was blocking it somehow but it was not it.
